BRITISH FRIENDS OF THE FOYER DE CHARITE

A Foyer retreat is a beautiful opportunity to grow in one's faith and love of God. The 'jewel' of the Foyers is the Fundamental Retreat, which takes place over six days in silence. For Marthe Robin, these six days were considered necessary so as not to remain on the threshold of one's soul. They are suitable for everyone, from those who have no faith but are interested in finding out more to those who already have a deep faith but want to go further. They are preached retreats, called fundamental, because they go through the foundations of faith in a systematic way, providing an integration between knowledge of the faith, prayer, the sacraments and the witness of the community who try to live out what is being preached.
